Meeting change
The location of the Longport Board of Commissioners workshop meeting scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 has changed.
Due to problems with the HVAC system in commission chambers, the meeting will be held in the Centennial Room on the second floor of Borough Hall, 2305 Atlantic Ave.
Notice has also been given that official action will take place at the meeting to have a first reading on an ordinance creating the position of municipal administrator. A public hearing on the ordinance will be held on second reading, 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18.
