Last year, Assemblymen Vince Mazzeo and John Armato collected more than 500 coats to warm hearts and hands for those in need, and they are doing it again this year.
The legislators have partnered with Friends in Action, Inc. to collect new or gently used coats, hats, gloves and scarves, which will be given out during their annual toy distribution.
You can drop off donations at the Mazzeo-Armato legislative office, 2312 New Road in Northfield, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until Friday, Dec. 20.
