NORTHFIELD - Assemblymen Vince Mazzeo and John Armato are currently conducting their annual "Winter Warmth" coat drive.
"Every year our office looks forward to hosting an annual winter coat drive. The community members we meet and the yearly support we have received has been incredible," they said in a release.
This year's coat drive will be a little different than in past years. Their legislative offices will be having contactless drop boxes placed in certain locations. For safety reasons, acceptable items are new hats, gloves and scarves for adults, children and infants.
"As we and our staff have been out serving warm meals and food boxes in recent weeks, there has been an overwhelming ask for gloves and hats," the release stated.
