Daily Update: Three-day totals include 1 death, 110 positive cases

Atlantic County public health officials released daily totals for COVID-19 testing Saturday through Monday, June 20-22 that include one death, and a three-day total of 110 new positive cases.

The county reported the death of a 68-year-old Hamilton Township man due to complications from COVID-19 on Saturday, June 20, with no deaths reported on Sunday or Monday.

There were 13 positive cases confirmed today, Monday, June 22, among 11 males, ages 14-70, and two females, ages 34-42; 53 confirmed Sunday, June 21 among 40 males, ages 17-60, and 13 females, ages 7-58; and 44 positives reported Saturday, June 20 among 31 men, ages 18-82, and 13 women, ages 19-88.

Ten of today's positives were found in Hammonton, two in Egg Harbor Township and one in Pleasantville.d

Twenty-five of Sunday's confirmations were identified in Hammonton, 19 in Hamilton Township, three in Galloway Township, two each in Atlantic City and Egg Harbor Township, and one each in Pleasantville and Somers Point.

Thirty of Saturday's confirmations were identified in Hammonton, five in Atlantic City, four in Hamilton Township, two in Egg Harbor Township, and one each in Galloway Township, Northfield and Pleasantville.

Today's positives bring the countywide total to 2,795 with 191 deaths and 1,373 residents cleared as recovered.

Atlantic County will continue to provide testing by appointment for symptomatic county residents with a doctor's prescription 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23 in Northfield behind the public works yard at Rt. 9 (New Road) and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments can be made online at www.aclink.org.
