NORTHFIELD NJ Assemblymen Vince Mazzeo and John Armato are collecting personal care items for their Summer Blessing Bag Drive.
We often think of our homeless populations throughout the winter. However, this heatwave got us thinking, a small act of kindness can help make a hot day a little more bearable, Mazzeo said on his Facebook page.
Items, which will be distributed in partnership with community outreach programs throughout Atlantic County, can be dropped off 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at their office at 2312 New Road in Northfield.
Needed items are sunscreen, lip balm, caps, bug repellant, baby wipes, lotions, deodorant, Band-Aids, hair bands, Q-Tips, feminine hygiene products, tissue, combs, etc.
