There are also two public questions on the ballot.

Question No. 1 asks if the NJ Constitution should be amended to permit casinos and racetracks to allow betting on college sports, a practice that is currently prohibited. Approving the amendment would allow the Legislature to pass laws permitting wagering on college sports or athletic events.

Question No. 2 asks if the NJ Constitution should be amended to allow community groups that conduct Bingo or raffles, such as veterans, charitable, educational, religious, fraternal, civic and senior citizen groups, volunteer fire companies, first-aid or rescue squads to use the net proceeds of the games to support their groups. Currently, only veterans and senior citizen groups are allowed to use the net proceed to support their groups, while other groups are allowed to use the proceeds only for specific purposes, such as educational, charitable, patriotic, religious or public-spirited uses. Approving the amendment would allow all groups authorized to conduct games of chance to use the net proceeds to support their groups.
