A shofar blowing is planned for Shirat Hayam's Tashlich service on the Newport Avenue beach in Ventnor.
VENTNOR The second day of Rosh Hashana brings the Jewish faith's Tashlich service, which includes a blowing of the shofar and casting of sins to the sea.
Shirat Hayam is planning a beach service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 on the beach at Newport Avenue.
Families are requested to bring their own beach chairs and blankets.
The service will be led by Cantor and Spiritual Reform Leader Jackie Menaker
COVID-19 protocols will be followed.
