EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP - The Atlantic County Utilities Authority invites electric vehicle owners, supporters, and the EV-curious to participate in its annual Drive Electric Celebration, which is being offered Tuesday and Wednesay, Sept. 27-28 in a hybrid format.
The events are designed to bring attention to the benefits of driving electric vehicles (EVs) and to address the questions and concerns arising in this rapidly changing landscape. Both events are free to attend and open to the public.
On Tuesday, Sept. 27, noon to 1 p.m., industry experts will offer virtual presentations on Zoom highlighting new technology that is rapidly changing the future of transportation. They will review the latest developments and incentives for New Jersey drivers. Participants are welcome and encouraged to ask questions in advance through ACUA's website or during the presentation.

The event offers the curious and the skeptical a chance to speak directly with people who drive and own EVs. This free event gives participants the option to see a wide variety of EVs at one location.

National Drive Electric Week is being celebrated across the U.S. this year from Sept. 23 to Oct. 2. Drive electric events highlight emission reductions, cost savings and other benefits provided by EVs and to answer questions and concerns.
