ATLANTIC CITY Stockton University's city campus is the location for the Time for Turbines 6 two-day event being held Thursday and Friday, Nov. 2-3.
Programs during the two-day event feature speakers and panelists from the offshore wind industry, government officials, developers and labor leaders who are advocating for offshore wind energy and good-paying jobs for New Jersey residents.
Hosted by Jersey Renews, the event includes field trips on Thursday to the university's Marine Field Station, Rutgers University RU COOL Lab, Orsted facility and Atlantic Shores wind center. A reception will be held 5-7 p.m. at Sirens Bar and Grill in the Absecon Inlet area of Atlantic City.
A forum with panel discussions will be held Friday, Nov. 3 in the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Center. Elizabeth Cerceo, associate professor at Cooper Medical School at Rowan University will provide a virtual keynote address at noon on the Climate Crisis Impacts on Healthcare.
Registration for both days is $350 for general admission, $200 for nonprofits and government entities.
