VENTNOR - The Shirat Hayam Men's Club will hold its third annual Arnie Levinson Steak & Scotch in the Sukkah dinner, 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the synagoge, 700 N. Swarthmore Ave.
A sukkah is a temporary hut constructed of organic materials during harvest season and comemmorates the time God provided for the Israelites in the wilderness after they were freed from slavery.
The event is open to all. Reservations are required by Sept. 22.
Dinner in the sukkah includes steak or salmon, baked potatoes, string beans, salad, dessert, fine Scotches, beer, burbon, vodka and wine.
