MARGATE - With generous support from the community, Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties was able to provide traditional Thanksgiving dinners to residents in need. During October and November, JFS collected donations to provide 675 meals for the Thanksgiving holiday.
JFS received contributions from community members as well as businesses, organizations, agency donors, and groups including Adam & Franci Steinberg, BAYADA Home Health Care, Conover-Swanson, Downbeach Deli and Restaurant, Eugene A. Tighe School, Fountain View at Logan Square, Fox Rothschild, Galloway Auto & Tire Center, Girl Scouts, Hartman Home Team, Hope & Keith Morgan, JCC Preschool, J.S. Goldstein Funeral Home & Monuments, Law Offices of Melissa Rosenblum, Levin Commercial Real Estate, Mainland High School Cheerleaders, Margate Business Association, Margate Log Cabin, Nicholas & Partners, NovaCare Rehabilitation, Oasis Property Group, OceanFirst Charitable Foundation, Playgroups Plus Preschool, Traci & Richard Werman, Visiting Angels, and William H. Ross III School who hosted collections to help put a turkey and side dishes on the table for many residents.
“At JFS, we are immensely thankful for the incredible support provided by businesses, organizations, community members and others who donated to the annual turkey drive. Each year, JFS commits to provide a hearty holiday meal to residents who turn to us for assistance,” JFS CEO Andrea Steinberg said.
