Volunteers provide attendees with information about the houses featured during the annual JFS House Tour.
MARGATE - Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties is seeking volunteers for its 35th annual House Tour being held Monday, Aug. 5 at homes throughout the Downbeach area. For the hundreds of attendees to enjoy a flawless experience, JFS relies on staff and volunteers to assist in each of the six to eight homes, as well as at lunch, raffle sales and more.
Volunteers are needed to serve as guides and hostesses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 1-4:30 p.m. VIP hostesses are needed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Candidates may volunteer individually, with friends, business colleagues, or in a group from an organization.
Those who sign up as volunteers before April 29 will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a fabulous prize. Those who recommend someone who participates as a volunteer will also receive an additional prize entry.
The annual event benefits the Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore program for adults age 50+.
