OCEAN CITY - The Atlantic-Cape May Sustainable Jersey Hub held a public meeting Tuesday, Oct. 22 to discuss the essentials of clean water, including where it comes from, how it is used and what happens after it goes down the drain. The event was held at the Ocean City Community Center.
The event featured presentations from local and regional professionals involved in protecting the region’s water resources, environment and public health.
In addition to providing “Water 101” basics presenters discussed what is being done to address emerging issues, such as PFAS, the “forever chemicals,” and microplastics.
The Atlantic-Cape May Sustainable Jersey Hub is a resource for local green teams to collaborate and share resources. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in Hub events.
