Cherry Blossom Festival returns to the Parkway, May 2

MARGATE - The 4th annual Cherry Blossom Celebration returns to the cherry tree-lined Parkway noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2.

Hosted by the Margate Business Association, in partnership with Margate Community Church, Sustainable Downbeach and Margate Recreation, and sponsored by The Pet Salon, this free, family-friendly event welcomes the spring season with live music, local vendors, food trucks, and a wide range of activities.

Guests can enjoy games, face painting, tai chi demonstrations, a Best Dressed Dog Contest, and Environmental Row, featuring sustainability-focused organizations, along with a variety of food and beverage offerings. Live music by Dead Reckoning performing the feel good tunes of the Grateful Dead will add to the relaxed vibes of the afternoon.

      Set against the backdrop of Margate’s iconic cherry blossoms, the event celebrates community, renewal, and the arrival of spring.
