Below are the updated road work plans as of April 20.
South Jersey Gas contractors will be working on Cates Road in the area of Monet Drive from 7a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
Traffic traveling from the Route 40 side of Cates Road will travel as normal and/or with lane shifts through the work zone. Traffic from Reega Avenue will be restricted and Cates Road will be closed in that direction at Pebble Beach Drive.
Traffic from Victoria Crossing and the Fairways Development heading to the Black Horse Pike will be detoured to Reega Avenue. A detour route will be posted during the working hours.
Motorists are urged to use caution and patience while traveling through the area as construction personnel will be in the roadway.
The northbound lane of Shore Road will be detoured between New York and Maryland avenues from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday for municipal road work, weather permitting. The southbound lane will not be impacted.
Northbound motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Portions of Zion Road will be closed between Asbury Road and Old Stage Road for drainage work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, weather permitting.
Beginning Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24, l
Lane shifts will be in effect along English Creek Avenue West Jersey Avenue and Scarborough Drive for asphalt and concrete work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
On Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24,
The Mill and Zion roads intersection will be closed to through traffic from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday for city work, weather permitting.
On Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21,
Moss Mill Road will be closed at the Intersection of Route 9 and East Moss Mill Road for work by South Jersey Gas from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
