MARGATE - Students in fifth and sixth grade attended STEM Night, April 10 with their parents, guardians and siblings to complete a series of STEM-based activities that were both educational and fun.

Activities were set up at separate stations that included a set of directions, the necessary materials, and an explanation of the outcome expected for science, technology, engineering and mathematics exercises.

Members of the Eugene A. Tighe Middle School National Junior Honor Society volunteered to assist at each station.

It took 45 minutes to an hour to complete all of the activities set up in the gymnasium. Students collected a sticker at each station on their "STEM Passport" to indicate they completed the activities.
