The Friends of the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office Foundation is holding an online contest to name two new K-9s being put to work in the Sheriff’s Office.
The contest on GoFundMe will raise funds to help with the expenses needed to care for the department’s canines - one male, and one female. They will be trained in narcotics and explosives detection. 100% of all donations help fund the Atlantic County Sheriff's K-9 Department. As of Monday afternoon, the campaign has raised $600 toward the department’s $2,000 goal
A $5 donation gives donors the opportunity to select from a list of three names for each of the K-9s. For a donation of $100 or more, you can receive a personalized thank you letter and T-shirt featuring your favorite K-9.
