EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP - The Sustainable Jersey Atlantic-Cape May Regional Hub will host a public event 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 at the Egg Harbor Township Community Center, 5045 English Creek Ave.
The purpose of the joint meeting of Atlantic and Cape May County green team volunteers and members of the public will focus on civic engagement. Discussions will include how laws are made, who decides what happens in your community and how you can influence the outcome.
Information will be shared about how local rulemaking works, how to work effectively with public officials, how others have successfully advanced local ordinances, and why engagement can have a powerful, lasting impact on communities.
