There's minor Eagles news that doesn't pertain to A.J. Brown or Jalen Hurts.
The Eagles have once again updated the wordmark on the front of their primary jerseys:

If you aren't a sicko and this looks the same, here's a look at the three wordmarks the Eagles have had in the last five years. (They switched from the first to the second prior to the 2024 season.)
Old Eagles wordmark is by far my favorite of the options below. But I could live with the new one at the end of the day. However, you lose me going with the full-fill background. Appears almost patch-like. And the issue is exacerbated on white. pic.twitter.com/MhdbsgrrJD
Perhaps the first wordmark looked too 90's, although some would argue that's when sports uniforms were at their peak in terms of creativity, rather than the minimalist trend that exists now. This new wordmark, though, feels like a downgrade even over the second one. As noted in the tweet above, it looks the worst on the white jerseys.
The Eagles moved from Kelly Green to Midnight Green in 1996, and while they've won four NFC titles and two Super Bowls during that period, it hasn't stopped many from longing for a full-time return to Kelly Green. Kelly Green returned as an alternate shade in 2023, but ill-fated decisions like this that worsen the primary threads will only increase calls to abandon Midnight Green altogether.
