ATLANTIC CITY – AI (artificial intelligence) and the role it is playing in shaping society is dominating boardrooms and headlines. The Public Relations Council of Greater Atlantic City will explore how AI, particularly Generative AI, is transforming the public relations landscape at its luncheon meeting 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the Fannie Lou Hamer Room at Stockton University’s Atlantic City campus.
Stockton University Professor of Communication Studies Suya Yin, Ph.D. will provide insights into AI’s implications for communication professionals and real life applications they can use in their work.
Yin joined Stockton’s faculty in 2004. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communications with a master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and a doctorate in Mass Communications. She also has a Ph.D. minor in Marketing from the UW-Madison School of Business. Prior to her career in the U.S., Yin in was an associate professor of English at the School of International Studies of the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, where she earned a master’s degree in English Language and Literature.
The cost for the luncheon, which is open to the public, is $45 for members and $60 for non-members with a reservation. Walk-ins are charged an additional $5.
