Two Margate police officers were promoted a Thursday's City Commission meeting.
Lt. Joseph Scullion was promoted to captain.
The 24-year veteran will serve as commander of the Operations Division.
He will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department.
Sgt. Jeanette Arcuri was promoted to lieutenant and will oversee two of the department's patrol squads, along with several other duties.
